:: UNDONE ::
Black is the look I see in your eyes
I turn my face so you don’t see me cry
Anger unleashed burning my face
My ears bleed at the words you say
After this eruption
What do I have left
A flow of venom
To scar my breast.

I hope this is not happening to you, but it’s well written and I hear you….I hear you loud and clear.
thankfully no, this was a poem from 2007 an experience in the past. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Lyrical yet taut. Found it fascinating that the poison is what leaves the scar while whatever the speaker said to the narrator acts more as a springboard for the narrator to react to. Points to wisdom in reflection, something always seductive in poetry. Well done.
