Drove Away

Left home today

Home is north, I am headed south

Left my moon and stars with memories

Blurry vision

Driving under a cloudy sky

Road vanished for half a mile

My destination reached

I laughed when I got out of the car

I wore those shoes

The ones with the orange laces

They were untied again

Those Damn orange laces
