Spider Webs

Spider web
Ghostly threads
Caught my heart
My soul is bled
Glowing eyes
Wrap me tight
Shuts out the light
For breath I fight
Velvet voice
Laughs at me
I don’t want to hear
I cannot flee
Spider web
With dew drops glow
Luminescent threads
Feel so cold
Glowing eyes
Gaze at me
I don’t want to see
The sea of green
Velvet voice
Whispering
In my dreams
I am whimpering
For the spider web
Has captured me
Lulling me softly
into nothing but
Spider webs
Ghostly threads
Caught in nightmares
Of
Spider webs

Winter’s Night

Meet me by the wooden bridge
Meet me as twilight falls
Carry with you a single white rose
And I shall wear the colors of fall.

Meet me in my dreams
Meet me just past midnight
Carry with you a candle
And I shall wear a gown of white.

Let us escape to dreamland
Let us enjoy our enchantment
Let us embrace our fantasy
Let us partake in destiny.

Meet me by the wooden bridge
Just at the edge of the wood
Meet me just past twilight my love
Listen for the sound of my flute
Carry with you a single white rose
And I shall wear the colors of fall
Meet me on a winter’s night
And claim me as your own.

Twilight (Published work written PRIOR to Stephenie Meyer)

 Twilight

Twilight’s reign grows week,
as moonbeams take the throne.
Those of eternal sleep,
will wake for the Sun is gone.
The wind whispers in the trees,
while the spiders run in the grass.
The one being I seek,
will return at last.
The light from his eye’s will guide my way.
The touch of his kiss will smother my pain.
The embrace of his arms will put me in Heaven,
and the song in his voice will linger forever.
The moonbeams glow in the night,
as the wind sings the trees a lullaby.
My love and I will take flight,
and leave the world a kiss goodbye.

Marisol, Chopin, & Bukowski

Chopin came first,
His piano dark, moody
The “Poet” composer,
I slept to his notes.
Bukowski came later,
His words raw and real,
Poetry from the fringe,
Bukowski is inspired
by Alcohol and Chopin,
As am I.

Stars Lullaby

The stars sing me a lullaby
Dark melodic tunes
That Chopin would adore
The Moon wears sliver white
As she embraces me with her light
I sit on my porch enjoying
this magickal evening
My life is calm
Recent hurts at rest
Fireflies dance to the stars song
Slow and dazzling
the add to the perfect calm
I send my wish to my wishing star
As I drift into sleep
Lulled by the lullaby
The Stars wrote for me
