Winter’s Night

Meet me by the wooden bridge
Meet me as twilight falls
Carry with you a single white rose
And I shall wear the colors of fall.

Meet me in my dreams
Meet me just past midnight
Carry with you a candle
And I shall wear a gown of white.

Let us escape to dreamland
Let us enjoy our enchantment
Let us embrace our fantasy
Let us partake in destiny.

Meet me by the wooden bridge
Just at the edge of the wood
Meet me just past twilight my love
Listen for the sound of my flute
Carry with you a single white rose
And I shall wear the colors of fall
Meet me on a winter’s night
And claim me as your own.

Sleepy Shadows

Sleepy shadows
Take Me home
Back to the quiet of the forlorn
I will dance in midnight meadows
Alone with moonlight and my sleepy shadows
living life is much to hard
Facing reality will leave you with scars
So I will dip in darkened streams
And I will fly on dark blue wings
My sleepy shadows take me home
To the quiet world of the forlorn.

Dreaming Through November ~ Virgo’s Gaze

Virgo’s Gaze

I am watching the sun set
Below November trees
So brilliant
They all but eclipse
The sun’s fiery decent.
I have been trying to craft
An ending to an
Uncooperative poem.
And even twilight’s show
Fails to inspire me.
With a frustrated sigh
I look up and find myself
Under the intense gaze
Of the Virgo sitting opposite me.
He tilts his head and says;
“You look fetching when
You are lost in thought”.
Maybe it was the timbre
Of his voice
Or the sunset reflected in
His eyes
But magickally
Inspiration found me
And I thanked him with
An unguarded smile,

Twilight (Published work written PRIOR to Stephenie Meyer)

 Twilight

Twilight’s reign grows week,
as moonbeams take the throne.
Those of eternal sleep,
will wake for the Sun is gone.
The wind whispers in the trees,
while the spiders run in the grass.
The one being I seek,
will return at last.
The light from his eye’s will guide my way.
The touch of his kiss will smother my pain.
The embrace of his arms will put me in Heaven,
and the song in his voice will linger forever.
The moonbeams glow in the night,
as the wind sings the trees a lullaby.
My love and I will take flight,
and leave the world a kiss goodbye.

Not For Death….

Not For Death

When it’s dark inside my world
I take a blade or a little pill
I calm the screaming thoughts in my mind
With a little blood and some sleeping time
Not for a death wish do I bleed
Only to feel something, to feel relief
Not for death do I drown into sleep
Only quiet my mind, not to dream
You see my scars, not pretty I know
I wish they did not cause you to look at me so
I am not begging for death or crying out for help
I am only finding ways to cope with myself
Please understand and do not five me grief
when you see the red lines that sometimes mark me
This comes and it goes like the sun and the rain
It does not hurt and there is no one to blame
So love me in spite of my little quirks
And I promise to be with you until the end of the Earth
Support me, don’t judge me and I will be forever yours
And I promise to never purposefully leave you alone in this world.
