Stars Lullaby

The stars sing me a lullaby
Dark melodic tunes
That Chopin would adore
The Moon wears sliver white
As she embraces me with her light
I sit on my porch enjoying
this magickal evening
My life is calm
Recent hurts at rest
Fireflies dance to the stars song
Slow and dazzling
the add to the perfect calm
I send my wish to my wishing star
As I drift into sleep
Lulled by the lullaby
The Stars wrote for me

Hush My Love

:: Hush My Love::

Hush my love and listen
Do you hear it?
Do you hear my voice calling out in the night?

Be still my love and feel
Do you feel it?
My hand brushing your face as you fall into dreams

Hush my love and listen
Do you hear me?
Your name upon my lips as I fall into dreams

Be still my love and feel
Feel me as I lay with you in sleep

In dreams I am your shadow
I visit you every night

In dreams I try to protect you
From the things you cannot fight

Hush my love and listen
To the song of the moon and stars

Look my love and you will see me
In the shadows of your heart

In Dreams

In Dreams

Green Upon Green

Green upon green
Water drenched trees
Under a canopy I write
Comforted by the sounds of twilight

Green turns to gray
As the day starts to fade
The colors go home
When the Moon takes the throne

Still I sit here and write
A poets delight
Under a canopy of trees
Touched by a gentle spring breeze

Gray turns to blue
As the stars come in view
I must go back home
To my fortress of stone

Green upon green
My eyes you have seen
My voice you have heard
My words you now read

She Saw The Moon

~She Saw The Moon~

A sigh escapes from bluish lips
A feather falls
to the dungeons floor
A hand so pale
Touches leaden bars
A tear so small
Is lost in the dark
A threadbare gown
Once frothy white lace
A shock of hair
Covers her face
She looks at the only glimpse of the Moon
Allowed in this Demons keep
Her feathers once of midnight blue
Now fall to the floor in ones and twos
A pile she uses to place her head
As nightmares take her away

Ocean Whispers

Silky waves are calling me somewhere in my dreams

Ocean mist is touching me while in my bed I sleep

Too long has it been since I tasted the sea

Too long has it been since the waves caressed me

I long for my nights walking alone on the dunes

I long a glimpse of my indigo Moon

Neptune’s daughter alone on the sand

Holding the Moon in the palm of her hand

Silky waves are calling me somewhere in my dreams

Ocean mist is touching me while in my bed I sleep
