Interrupted by a Fishing Pole?

Reverie Interrupted

I am mesmerized by the sea spray,
Down an endless shoreline.
It it weren’t for the white crest
of waves crashing
You would never know that
you gazed at the ocean.
I study the waves
as they break on pale sand
Disturbing, beautiful
Chaotic, angry
or maybe…
That’s just me.
The longer I look
the more I understand
It is a frenzied dance that
slams them to the shore
Images run through my brain
And while I search for the words
to explain my minds pictures
I loose all inspiration
When I almost run into
A man and his fishing pole

November & Neptune

There were no seashells to be found
Six days I had looked
Neptune must have been on another shore
I prepare to leave my ocean
I prepare to say goodbye
To the boy with the shadowed eyes
He plans to bring me back soon
But I missed a chance
To dream seashore dreams
To look at the stars
Reflected in my indigo ocean
I failed to capture a picture
Of our shadows in the sand
A feeling of dread comes over me
As sand is traded for pavement
In my heart I knew
I would not be back again

Lady of The Dunes

Twas a chill spring night
The moon was low
I saw her walking along the dunes
Oh, how the waves pounded
The beach that night
the ocean angry at the world of light
She was alone, not frightened of being swept away
Thunder rumbled
Wind howled
She was a shimmer of white
In the tempest night
I wanted to hear her fabled moan
But the force of nature
Was to fierce for my mortal soul
But I’ve heard it said
By moon and star
In rain or fog
She walks along the dunes
They don’t say why
Only that she cries
Heard best on bitter cold nights
I plan to comeback to this forgotten shore
And hear a bit more of her story
I believe tis a love she lost
While walking in the storm.

Midnight Blue… did she jump or slip?

Angel Rescue

Urgent whispers

The ocean calling

Angel slips

She is falling

Gasping for breath

Waves are crushing

White foam surrounds her

Crashing, pounding

Green eyes close

No more fighting

Strong arms grab her

She is floating

Gentle kiss

Blue eyes searching

Angel rescued

A princely sailor

His forever

Should he wish to keep her

Emotions Dream~ Published Work

~ Emotions Dream ~

One soul of silver

Like a morning mist in the meadow

Of an Angels dream

One soul of opal

Like a twilight rainbow

On the halo of Saturn

In the midst of space

Two souls together

In stormy weather

In seas of green

Like a demons dream

The waves will change them

Like a Picasso painting

A twisted vision

Of soulful passion

One heart of silver

One heart of opal

Two souls are mixing

The perfect potion

Of a pure emotion

Like destiny’s dream
